The first real post-hardcore album I listened to so yes, it needed some time.

I think I'm gonna bump this up to a 5. The energy the band conveys through a recording is just ridiculous. If they can do that, I can't even imagine the intensity of their live show. It's quite a shame the band broke up when they did. However, I don't see how they could have topped this. But I still have their back catalouge to explore so it's all good.

I know this is better, but I'm at the mercy of Best Buy shelf-stockers.

EDIT: But lo- since Bron just alerted me that our local indie record shop has just re-opened, I won't have this problem anymore. A happy Chanukah this will be.

Quite possibly the greatest post-hardcore album ever. Great review, also.

Am I the only one who really dislikes this review for the album? Although I find it to be very good for background of the album and such, if I didn't have this, I would still have no idea what the hell it would sound like. Usually I like reviews that tell me what certain albums sound like and if the artists did their job well, but that just might be me.

I don't really dig this at all. Just not for me. I think "Rolodex Propaganda" is pretty cool (The vocalist sounds like Zach from Rage for the first few lines) and "Mannequin Republic" catches my interest, but that's where it stops.

This sort of makes me hope your kids are born with birth defects. =/

Does this make me a bad person?
