this just skims the line of being a 5 for me, so damn close. This, Unquestionable Presence, None So Vile, Human, and Close to a World Below are all like a 4.7-4.8

the older I get, the more I like a good death n roll jam. Been starting to enjoy Carcass' Swansong more and more. Will give that Entombed album a listen, only heard one or two songs from it

I just love the fun, informal feel to it. Sounds like they randomly got together, switched their amps on, and dove right in. Hard to say if you'd dig. My guess would be no, but I could be wrong. Definitely worth checking if you're curious.

I might do it actually. Never heard a death n roll album in full, just a few songs here and there. Wasn't impressed by what I heard but you never know!

It’s just rock n roll’s way of making DM lamer, like getting prime sirloin steak, cooking it to within an inch of its life and then slathering it in budget pasta sauce or something

Death 'n' roll's cool when these guys do it, as shown on Massive Killing Capacity. You guys should definitely check it if you haven't already, it's actually pretty good despite the change in style.
