Yeah man, the stuff he did is just incompressible to the average mind.

Yeah I know he's not your normal garden-variety nonce, beyond redemption that one, a throw away the key job

Actually, I never said I hoped he would be targeted in prison. I've never understood the whole 'honour among theives' argument amongst those in incarceration. Like someone who is in for murdering a man having the moral high ground over a child molester. At the end of the day, if you're in prison, you're probably a piece of shit yourself.

The royalties from his record sales should be paying a contribution to the upkeep of the prison and he should do life as that would pay for him to be in there for life with little burden on the taxpayer

Would his royalties be enough for the rest of his life? I know these guys were popular but they hardly sold diamond records for fun.

It would be a sizeable contribution at the least - for a case as horrific as this the guilty party shouldn't be allowed to accumulate wealth

Ahh ok. Listening this to the first time, it's decent, nothing special though.

Yeah, fuck Watkins. Not letting him ruin my enjoyment of the band though. I had some trouble separating the dude from his work though.

I went through the same thing with the whole Chris Benoit debacle back in '07.

Album still holds up well regardless of nostalgia and despite their singer being scum.

I've always wished Mike Chiplin- their original drummer on this and FSOP- never left and wondered what their sound would have been like if he didn't. From what I remember, he wanted to play more metal or something.

Ian was moved to another prison a couple years back to be near his mom after she had surgery. I guess he still has some humanity in him.
