This has an avg of 3.15 with like 1300 ratings on RYM, it's even worse than here.

Both underrated and better than Louder Than Love [2]

Just finished this one. Still not crazy about it, but Beyond the Wheel and Circle of Power rule hard

Yeah, not a great debut but an amazing band who has done some incredible stuff. Beyond The Wheel is excellent.

I get why Circle of Power can be a turn off with Hiro's vocals, but the music is so energetic and exciting. Of course, Flower and All Your Lies also rule

Beyond the wheel is hands down the album's strongest track.

Flower is a solid jam too

Flower, All Your Lies and Beyond The Wheel are arguably the best songs here. The album drifts off in the middle, but there's a couple more gems around the end.

I was gonna give it a mention, damn. Agree except for Mood For Trouble, just not a very interesting song considering Soundgarden's standards.

Underrated album that's way better than Louder Than Love, so like 5th Best SG, and 4th best SG LP.

Still haven't finished Louder Than Love, damn. Hands All Over is definitely among my many favorite Soundgarden tunes.

Hands All Over is great agreed.

I'd say my favorite album of theirs might be Badmotorfinger, but it's only slightly ahead of Superunknown for me. The two are very close. Just Superunknown doesn't have Slaves and Bulldozers.

It's a great toss-up but Superunknown tops it for me, one of the best 'rock' albums out there for sure. All 15 tracks are incredibly excellent, which is truly a rare feat. It may not have Slaves And Bulldozers, but it does have Like Suicide so that's probably even : )

Eh I have to disagree, I think it has the stronger hooks in the album, the verses are killer.

Badmotorfinger rules but Superunknown has something special in its blackness. Let Me Drown starts it so well.

Agree hard, even though Badmotorfinger's opener is probably my no. 1 favorite Soundgarden tune.
