Some parts of this feel like they're trying a little TOO hard to try to be as crazy and unpredictable as possible to the point that it actually becomes a little annoying. It's weird, because I don't have that problem with any of their other records. Still love most of I though.

Huh, weird.. I can see that criticism levelled at maybe OP, or parts of MM for sure. OOUITK though was opposite for me. I felt almost like I could predict almost every turn most of the songs made, and that made the record boring. And then IW and Dissociation were just the perfect blend of coherency but with enough wtf moments to keep it interesting. They're all fantastic though.

OOUITK was indeed their most accessible and a rather predictable album, but it was still a very strong metalcore album. Lot of people probably going to disagree, but Dillinger doing something more straightforward can be viewed as pretty unpredictable by them.
