Just thought I'd comment and say I'm about to listen to this for the first time. I hope it's as good as you all say.

Wow I'm loving this record so much! It's definitely bleak but it doesn't make me depressed like some other albums (Closer and In Utero comes to mind) the punk riffs and snarl in his voice is just fantastic!

fantastic album, though i do wonder why they didn't use the US mix for the original release, it's miles better

Is the US mix really that much different?

surprisingly so actually. It beefs up the bass (and especially) the drums a lot, and adds a bit of

space into the arrangements. It definitely packs more punch overall, even if there is a little too

much reverb on some tracks. The band say they much prefer it

Album is insane.

Couldn't get it at first, now it's easily top 5. Lyrically, this album is beyond genius.

The album holds more weight once you find out the guy went missing afterwards.

Does "The Intense Humming of Evil" sound like the Pyramid Head song from Silent Hill to anyone? Somewhat similar, pretty interesting to me.

Incredible review, btw. One of the best on this site.
