I think the singles for this being so different to the rest of the album really worked to its detriment in hindsight, people went in expecting 16 tracks of Ava Adore and Perfect and were very disappointed with the rest of the album.

it changes around all the time but there's a few tracks on SD that just don't do it for me that much anymore - quiet, disarm, silverfuck, maybe a couple others. I think these days i even prefer Pisces Iscariot from that era. this just has a really neat, unique quality, idk. it's like they're expanding upon what they did in the last handful of tracks from Mellon Collie, i love it.

Gish is very good, probably their most solid album. doesn't have many songs i'd consider favorites though - probably Rhinoceros, Daydream, maybe Bury Me.

On my occasional SP binge, i keep realising how sterile and cold Adore truly is. The lack of loud guitars and the absence of Jimmy Chamberlain contribute a lot for this being the worst SP album, even below Zeitgeist.
