Its kind of funny you gave a cd with programmed drums a 5 and the follow up with all real musicians a 4. Is it just because it was done by one man? Theyre both really good. I just thought that was funny. Most people bash bands when they use synthetic instruments. Personally, I dont mind.

Also, on a side note. Ive read that Muhammed said that all the musicians in Nechrophagist write songs that only display about 60% of their skill so that they can play their shows with more emotion. This doesnt seem true to me considering Ive seen them live and they all just stood there. I was entertained non the less. Theyre tight as hell live.

I really can't decide between the two. All I know is that "Advanced Corpse Tumor" has Muhammed's best guitar solo yet.

now that they have marco minnemann these guys own a ridiculous amount more because they have a drummer than can actually play everything that's written.

Not as great as "Epitaph" but still utterly amazing. Nice review.

This is, in my opinion, better than Epitaph. I don't know why because i love both, i think that the songs are just better overall, plus it is the heavier of the two albums.

^I used to think the same thing for the longest time, but now I like Epitaph better. I'll probably switch back to this later on lol

I get more out of the riffs than the solos these days.

Not worthy of a 5 IMO. Decent album, but not creative enough to keep me interested for very long. Has it's moments, but not a very memorable album. Well worth a listen though, because the guitar work is very impressive, despite being overly wanky.
