I can see that, but this is more melodic death metal than anything EoS has released.
Maybe I'm just really bored with the genre, I don't know. I used to love this album.

i suppose it is vaguely eos-ish but eos has a tendency to get bogged down in retarded "progressive" ideas while this is straight up ridiculously good riffs, harmonization, leads and atmosphere throughout. fair enough if you dont like it though.

Actually, I went back to this for the third time in as many days and I bumped the rating because the last two songs on here destroy the rest of the album. As for straight-up melo-death, I need something more interesting than just good riffs, harmonization etc. Dynamics are a key ingredient to what I love most. This really has none that stand out.

Yeah seriously these guys didn't need to release anything else after that. Some bands are best releasing one classic and nothing else. Disillusion would have been better off that way.
