I like Kid A better than this. Both are extremely well-crafted, but Kid A is more creative, incorporates a wider variety of elements, and is an overall artistic statement. This is a top-notch alt-rock album, but it can't boast the same resume.

I appreciate the electronic and artistic elements of Kid A but I'm not sure of it being more creative. While some of the songs are exceptional, I find some of it a bit simplistic and boring really. Obviously when I'm listening, OK Computer has more clarity and I just don't understand some of Kid A's artsy electro beats.

Well just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it's simplistic. I can tell you that is definitely not the case.
You're entitled to your opinion though, it certainly isn't worth squabbling over. Both albums are excellent in their own right.

I can understand how one would like this more, because they arent that much alike.

"Well just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it's simplistic. "
I was taking note of that possibility. A lot of it is pretty minimalist though.
I was wondering if your introduction to Radiohead would impact the affinity to each album.
I think starting with the Bends (pretty underrated) and then OKC is probably may be why I appreciate more of the alt rock
side.

Guys guys guys... all of your opinions are equally inferior and therefore all of this album comparing is a useless waste of time.
Allow me to settle all of this madness once and for all because my opinion is actually 100% accurate.

Kid A never feels forced or insincere to me, I think that's its beauty. The "arsty electronic beats" don't feel affected like when many artists have their so-called experimental record
