Yeah Kid A is more atmospheric and personal in my opinion, it's one of those albums that feels like you're the only person who's ever heard it before

OK COMPUTER < KID A

Kid A is way more atmospheric, it puts more focus on surrounding you and enveloping you than OKC which despite its immersive quality is more song-driven

oltna's onto it
|

Thats why i often have problems deciding
which one is my favorite among the two
Because ultimately, radiohead always been
better at texturing and soundscaping than
songwriting
But OKC just works.

They're incredible songwriters and were an amazing rock band, for sure, I just consider their more textured and soundcapey stuff a little more... potent? Perfect? Emotive?

On The Bends and OKC their more experimental side is definitely there, but feels a little trapped (even stifled) by the rock songs that encase them... and Kid A was the dam bursting and all of that juicy goodness pouring out
If y'know what I mean
