Bleed Me an Ocean, Graveflower, Venus Blue, and Dead Girl are just so fucking raw and memorable. Add all of the gnarly death metal/sludge tracks and this thing is so center of the bullseye for me. Classic status. The fact that this band only had two is depressing.

God how fucking good is this record, that kick into double time in Bleed Me An Ocean levels houses, even before Locust Spawning hits.

They honed in on such a gnarly sound. To seamlessly bounce between top tier sludgy death, hardcore, and grunge while retaining that consistent and unique aura of pure pain is just unparalleled. Vocal performance on this one is legendary...Bleed Me an Ocean and Dead Girl especially.

Agreed on Iron Monkey's first two being amazing. Sludge might be my second favorite metal subgenre tbh. Grief is definitely my favorite band. This is definitely up there too along with Dystopia, Meth Drinker Mammon and Iron Monkey.
