Oh and Notintheface, the only people who give a shit about In Flames to any great extent are losers anyways. It's not pretentious to preach the truth. In Flames is barely death metal and they were barely ever decent and STS is a joke.

I totally agree with your views on In Flames and that At the Gates album... but I don't know if this would be any good. I heard Massive Killing Capacity back in the day (which was a Tuesday), and didn't really like it.

It took me a little while to get into this type of death metal (mid-paced, crushing death metal without blastbeats), but I really love it now.

Good review. Like Án Ever Flowing Stream was good, but not amazing. I'll probably still check this out though. In regard to the introduction, your review could do without it, but it doesn't make much of a difference either way.

Both, really. Massive Killing Capacity is unlike anything they've ever done, but this does contain elements of it. Definitely get both eventually but base which you get first on whether you're looking for a fresher Dismember or a newer more varied one.
