I do think I detected some Rush influence, specifically in the drumming.

I dunno man, when I listen to sound of perseverance or even some of the songs on symbolic I hear a lot of similar riffs. But that might just be a result of both bands playing harmonizing riffs in D standard

Tommy, you like kesha. Your opinions related to a mastodon album are completely worthless.

Don't lie Tommy, I'm sure you have prepared a disrespectful comment against this magnum opus, and spirit your high scores are funny. Dude, If I were you, I would rather give a 5 to leviathan than rating with a high score shitty albums made by a day to remember, my chemical romance and fall out boy, dude, I mean those albums are for generic emo posers of the mid 00's, also those albums doesn't have a good guitars ( most of the tracks have a generic guitar work which has been done better or some tracks just contain shitty power chrods ), the bass is non existent, the vocals are lame as fuck, doesn't have something new to say and their lyrics are inmature as hell.

@ Meat: Ye, the d standard may account for what you're hearing. But are you talking about the note selection, the tone, the picking??
