This is an attention-demanding album. It requires patience and open-mindedness. The problem is, the rock songs tend to overpower the listener and leave them with a disdainful outlook on the slower, ambient works.
That said, I thoroughly enjoy every second of this album. I listened to it twice in a row the other day, and once the day before that, and I cannot pick a flaw out. Once you accept it for what it is, Deathconsciousness is perfect.
