The concept is kinda cool though, at least for the first movie

I'm giving the first one a pass, then it just got silly. What's the most potentially shocking/screwed up situation we can think of? Lets use that. Teen movies for kids who like to think they're 'extreme' (even though they shouldn't be watching them, a bit like how they're not supposed to play GTA but of course they do & the developers know it).

Yeah, it was over the top right from the start but the second one was just lol wtf and it only got worse from there.

Although one of the later ones did give Chester Bennington the opportunity to flex his acting chops, so there's that.

Didn’t know that! Not actually sure which one I got up to, they all started merging into one. Remember watching one on my birthday while get trashed with mates, probably the best way to watch them, haha

what gets me about the saw films is the ridiculous storyline they put in it for some reason. Just leave it at 'puppet tortures people' and you get just as much revenue as long as the gore is good

Got to love this place, a reply about Saw in an Aphex thread from a guy who wasn’t even involved in the initial convo. Unexpected.

Unfortunately I have no opinion on that but guess you must be right, I can’t imagine their major selling point is a nuanced plot-line.

A great choice. Sometimes this overtakes drukQs for me, but it's pretty consistently my second favourite.

How does the debut compare to this? Plan on getting to that one next.

the style is quite a bit different from this but it's also the quintessential Aphex record and you need to listen to it asap

I disagree, I feel the purpose of Jigsaw is what makes the movies interesting. There's no good horror movie without a justifed motive that makes the movie work.

This was a cool listen and puts this album in a different light. Girl/Boy Song in particular sounds fantastic at that speed.
