Well my opinion on what is the best Zappa changes each day but yesterday when I listened to this, Son of Mr. green Genes really hit me. Just an amazing composition with great guitar work and I just love those fucking horns. As for "Mr. Green Genes > Son of Mr.Green Genes" I have to disagree hard on that. One is a nice little fun track and the other is a compositional masterpiece

I don't like all of Son of Mr Green Genes equally. Some of Zappa's guitar licks are a bit bland imo. I like Zappa more as a composer than a guitarist.

Peaches has one of the most pretty melodies ever. It sounds so triumphant when those horns come in. Wonderful. Then Willie the Pimp comes on and it's just such an opposite mood it's hilarious. Beefheart sounds like a real gangsta in that song.
