I listened to Given To The Rising last night for the first time in quite a while because every time I think Neurosis I think this instead! I need to start backtracking again because while I've had all their stuff for quite a while (and enjoyed it immensely), I really need to give other stuff more attention. This album however is just Neurosis in an unstoppable form.

Actually listening to this now funny enough, just hitting up good ol' Neurosis again.
Bridges melts babies. Burn, No River To Take Me Home and Left To Wonder bring the sex.

one thing though, whats the difference between post-metal and sludge metal?
|
| |
sludge = doom + hardcore/crust. like grief
post metal = bands like isis. post rock + metal
