the Halo soundtracks are pretty good

Yes, but the third one gets real boring and repetitive.

This review is really hard to read and you could probably do it a lot better if you wanted to.
Quick notes: the agoge and the wolf are bad? that's what it says anyway. also, don't use the word "awesome" unless you literally mean awe-inducing. the way you have the quotes tacked in here is really distracting. I think if you got rid of them you'd realize that this review is really lacking and for the most part skims over everything without properly conveying the epic sound that you are claiming it has.

Okay, I wasn't sure about the quotes and I removed them. There are some things wrong with your comment:
That’s not to say that it’s not good, but like a large portion of the soundtrack it’s overshadowed by the standout tracks. My description of the two tracks you mentioned.
I meant awe inducing. Just like the movie. And said "awesome" once.
I described the standout tracks, and then said the rest is similar to at least one of them. I should say the rest is "like your typical soundtrack, but really good".

I knew what you meant, of course, but I think my criticism just came off more harsh than I intended it to be. I know soundtrack reviews are a different breed and can be a little harder to do, which is why I haven't opted to do one yet. The review does look better though.

I don't own the third one. Just 1+2. The second one is probably the best based on your opinion then.

^ Yep, pretty much.

Good review. It makes me feel like watching the movie again for possibly the 100th time. And that's a good thing.

awesome review for an awesome soundtrack to an awsome movie. as peter griffin would say, "Awesome!"
|
| |
But Peter Griffin doesn't really say "awesome" that often.
|
| |
as peter griffin would say, "Freakin' Sweet!"
Fixed. Very good review, I voted. I watched the movie over the weekend
|

Peter says awesome in several episodes...regardless, its a great review, soundtrack, and movie

Album is still awesome even though "Come and Get Them" is a giant rip off from Titus.

Its a good soundtrack to the movie, but gawd, i could not sit down and listen to this as an album.
'xactly. My bro wants me to do the soundtrack for his senior film like Bates does this so I've been listening to this a bit. On its own it's not that cool.

Perfect running album. Nothing better.

Fun fact: the Spartans were most likely homosexual.

According to historical records, the samurai's actually practiced homosexuality. Which sucks because I love the whole Dynasty Warriros thing. But the Spartans I(we) know and love from this film was hardly the case back then. They wore armour and all that just like the next warring tribe. However, going to battle in nothing but a cape, speedo, helmet and shin guards is fucking manly, totally metal, and a sign of B.A.M.F.

they were into pedastry and fun stuff like that and male bonding can benefit military bonding and morale but they still liked their women
