Meh... silly/pointless review in my opinion. Obviously there is some ingeniousness in writing a song catchy enough for twelve-year old girls around the world to love it, but there is no real musical value here... not for me anyway. Catchy is sometimes a synonym for 'annoying as hell' This Message Edited On 08.04.05

Whoever gives her music more than .0000132 star is fucking nuts to put it nicely.
Shes a crime against humanity. Plz die.

SOP, In the Zone is the one with "Me Against the Music" and "Toxic" right? If so, the singles from that album are great, but I havent' heard the rest. I'd be interested in seeing an intelligent review.

"She's about as intimite as a blow-up doll".

Spat Out Plath make sure to include the clip from hit me baby one more time that says sleep with me I'm not to young.
I used to know all the lyrics to this album cause my sister would play it non-stop. m/This Message Edited On 10.14.05

surprisingly i have. when i need money i babysit this bratty little girl and she always has this or another girl pop album going and i have to say that this album is not good at all.
|

Have you actually taken the time to listen to it without extreme amounts of willful prejudice against it becuase of forced listening by a juvenile?
|
| |
actually i always try to be open minded when listening to music i havent heard. and believe me i never listened to it before. and i dont think i ever will again

That's more of an "insult" to Good Charlotte than it is to Britney Spears. She never pretended to be something she's not. Aside from the whole virgin and singing live thing. But her music is manufactured pop and there is nothing wrong with that.

I still think that this site needs a lot more pop (and any other genres vaguely associated with it) reviews. Same goes for country, folk, jazz, etc.

Except that nearly all country makes me want to crowbar faces.

BRITNEY SPEARS!!!!?!??!?!?!
ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!!!!!!

What a brilliant comment.

If someone could explain to me what's odd about a Britney Spears album being reviewed on a music review website, I'll be delighted to listen. Until then, people need to start getting over it. This is an OK album...definitely her best, although not a pop classic.

because music is not supposed to have you reaching for holy water and crucifixes to keep the evil(britney) away

I don't like black metal or emo (real emo, not My Bloody Valentine). Does that make it not music?
