I don't listen to much rap, but I'm happy to say that this is one in my collection. If you like anything from the Beastie Boys then you need this album.

the beasties are my fav out of any rappers ever, and id say this is their best work to date. i believe paul revere is the best rap song ever. it seems like people who dont rap like the beasties, i think its because of the guitars they have in their beats, but who knows? the goth kids and metalheads are all drawn to them for some unexplained reason. definitely a 5/5 from me.

i get what youre saying, and i also didnt want to bring up the racial thing either. i used to be all metalhead and gothic and i got into underground rap a lot like tech n9ne and kutt calhoun and guys like that.

i am not a fan of rap, but hey, when its funny, original, and relatable-girls-fight for your right to party, whats not to like. best of all they dont take their image serriously.

Really good album. And also good review. In fact, Beastie Boys are one of the few hip hop acts I listen to.
You also might want to add that the guitar sample in "She's Crafty" is by Led Zeppelin from the song "The Ocean".

This album is kinda boring...it's not terrible, but after a few listens the novelty of the whole album wears off, and nothing on here is good enough to stand up after a while.

D(iamond) is the son of Neil Diamond. It makes some sense.
