Just picked this up. Drone Metal is usually not my favorite sub-genre of Metal but we'll see what this does for me. I like Isis....to an extent, so this might work.

album still has the most dense and massive sound ever.

When I dl'd the combined version there were ten tracks, the first five were were heavy but atmospheric and the other five were just ambient. And the ambient tracks are definitely not present in the first five, since there are some piano parts and stuff that are clearly not in the heavy tracks where they are in the noise tracks so wtf is up with that.

i used audacity to combine them ..but i prefer listening to the ful thing on CD

Idk how you rate it when there's so many different options. Disc one by itself is like a 4 ish and disc two is like a 3, but synched it's a high 4 and maybe a 4.5.

i can understand the possibility of feeling like that but honestly this kicks my ass every single time.
