The climax of auu pays Natal are unfuckwithable. God this album slays. I love every Rosetta release but I desperately wish they wouldn't shun this one live. Id probably piss my pants if i witnessed them play it in its entirety.

This, Isis, Intronaut, The Ocean, Cult of Luna, and Neurosis are all sludge/post-metal (is there even a difference?) bands I'm trying to get into but with not much luck. Though I probably like this one the most from what I've heard

sludge is very different from post-metal dude, basically all the bands you listed are post metal. this is kinda like isis but heavier and with a more spacey atmosphere

I thought post-metal was just heavier post-rock. I know a lot about rock and metal but honestly next to nothing about

the post-[genre]s which I've been trying to get into more recently

In a way, post-metal is like heavier post-rock, but not all post-metal bands have sludge

influences. This is definitely more spacey.
