i remember my teen self just getting into death metal stumbling upon this. at that point i was probably on stuff like Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal, Vital Remains, Nile, Behemoth, Belphegor, Hour of Penance, etc. my newbie death metal ears couldnt understand the appeal. simpler times, my guys.
