Twilight is one of the gayest movies I've ever seen.

Besides the 'ok' Interview with a Vampire, dracula/ vampires are some of the worst monsters to come out of Hollywood. This album just makes me want to hang out in a cemetary.

Honestly, listening to their older stuff completely changed the way I feel about The Great Cold Distance (lowered rating). Their new stuff is simply too watered down.

I'd say The Great Cold Distance is their best in their gothic melodic doom phase, but Brave Murder Day is Katatonia's best metal album, and best in general.

I can certainly see that being especially true for The Great Cold Distance. Their alternative side provides enough fluff in the music to make it seem like their is much more going on. "Soil Song" is really one of the only standout tracks on the album and that isn't saying much. The Opethian bridge about 3 minutes into the song is about the only thing I can really remember about the album. "Fourth of July" has a cool melody too hahaha.

Na.. Leaders is one of the heaviest songs they've done. And amazing at that with July, Consternation, My Twin. More focused than this and vocally superior.
