This album is amazingly dark and atmospheric.
I guess its funeral doom? So maybe thats why rasuputin the reviewer isnt digging it? As its not traditional doom? Idk...
I went to listen to the Worship album he kept going on about, ive listened to about 20 minutes now of that "last cd before doomsday" ..i had to turn it off, im finding it boring and kind of annoying haha
Now ilstening to "tides of awakening", feels like there is so much more soul and feeling here.
I like this way more, but maybe i just dont dig traditional doom then.
To each their own, of course
