I just don't find the songwriting nearly as strong as a whole. There are a few pretty sweet songs, but I don't think it has the consistency of any of their previous albums.

Haven’t heard this one but that’s largely because I felt things were already trending toward homogeneity in Summer in Abaddon. Maybe I’ll check this one and Information Retrieved someday just for completions’ sake.

honestly boney after one spin i doubt i will be listening to most of this ever again. theres a couple of good tracks but the rest is just fine if forgettable. somewhere between a mid 3 and a low 3.5

i didnt know this and IR had bad reception. tbh, information retrieved was really nice for me when it dropped i was just kept waiting for so long after this one from like 2007.
sherman is a great track. and drawstring.

This one is pretty great. IR is a bit more ho-hum to me but still worth checking out.
