They're good.

The comparison I made is just based on my personal taste, and musically the two shouldn't be compared.

Better? Your opinion. Corny? **** off.

Of course it's my opinion, that's why I said it. I really hate the "it's your opinion" reply. That much should be painful obvious, I shouldn't have to spoon-feed anyone with an "IMO".

And Grant is right, they shouldn't be compared. This Message Edited On 05.16.08

No, see, but the "certainly less corny" bit was just you being a d**k lol ;P

Finally got this and it is a magnificent trek through the lands of the epic...i feel like i should be wearing a suit of armor when i am listening to this (which i will be more prepared for next time)

Every element of this band meshes so well with the others whether it be the brilliant vocals, uber-brilliant drumming, or splendiferic guitars...i feel like this album and i are gunna be buddies for a long time...did i mention the vocals are magnificent?...okay i did...

I love this album in a very deep way that goes past personality into a realm of sexuality that only a few humans (and many animals) know...Gallows Hymm is soooo powerful i tremble at its sight...with a few more listens, this will be bumped i do believe

This album has yet to lose an ounce of power no matter how much I abuse it. I also generally don't care too much about lyrics in metal but this album I really love the messages poured throughout the album. Especially "As Rome Burns", that song brings out the heathen fury. This Message Edited On 10.06.08
