So so. Liked badmotorfinger was disappointed with Superunknown.

I still jam 'the grunge greats' all the time but Soundgarden never get a sniff nowadays.

@Zak: I wanna rec you Down on the Upside since it's my favorite grunge album easily, but I feel like you might hate it.

On the name alone it's shit.

It's actually not such a bad name ahah, and the album rules but it's not my favorite of theirs and definitely not the best 'grunge' album :]

I kind of love the name, have a poster of it in my room :P

Perfect album, except for Switch Opens...

"but it's not my favorite of theirs and definitely not the best 'grunge' album :]"

Yeah, I acknowledge that it's a weird pick for best grunge album, but for me personally, it has everything I look for in a grunge album and it's pretty diverse for the genre. I don't except others to agree.

Poster in your room. Cool!!!

Mine was a shrine to Nirvana and rather oddly late 80s hip-hop, just to piss me mum off. Ice T - Power and what have you :D

Fair enough dude, I don't even feel comfortable referring to 'grunge' as a genre because so much stuff can fit in there, basically I'd just say the Seattle scene and be done with it :]

Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden are probably all tied up for me in terms of quality, all are better than Nirvana in my opinion ahah, even Nirvana rules though.

I dunno Zak,Billy is pretty adamant that they never considered themselves grunge. I think me and you are the only two on this site who rate Nirvana the best of the big four though haha.

Alice in Chains, Nirvana, and Soundgarden all said they hate the term grunge so that doesn't necessarily count the Pumpkins out from being grunge.

Yeah nobody actively called themselves a 'grunge' band. Only your Creeds and Bushs' do that sort of nonsense.
The real deal laughed and took the piss out of the sycophantic press desperate to latch on to a 'new punk'

Regardless. Nirvana>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Bush really sucks, seriously though. Sixteen Stone is trying to hard to be grunge it's like ugh.
