Coroner is peculiar but i'm not too fond on them, the only 80's thrash albums i care nowadays are South Of Heaven, Reign In Blood, Ride The lightning, Among The Living and Beneath The Remains, that's all i need

theres something about being from Brazil that makes them more interesting somehow. Like all the weird shit the band had to go through growing up there in poverty, witnessing the corrupt cops harassing them and imprison them, the religious fanatics wanting them dead, watching people get murdered at their concerts with a machete. Just crazy shit. It adds to the music, I think. Songs like ''Inner Self'' carry a lot more weight lyrically when you consider the place he grew up in. Whereas if some other band wrote the lyrics, they may seem cheesy. The anger is real, they were pissed off at their living conditions.
