I've recently been listening to their older stuff. I am really liking this old style they had, the only problem I have is Jimmy's pronunciation in his screams. It is much easier to tell what Stephen was saying when screaming. But good 4/5

I got introduced to this band from this album and I fell in love with this line up. When Everything Falls was great as well, but their next two releases were just so bland to me. They picked things up on Attack of the Wolf King. But it's still nothing like this. Such a great debut LP.

Throughout all of the Haste the Day albums, they were able to maintain quality musicianship (even with the changes). But it took me a while to get into Jimmy's screaches. Once I did, this is definately the defining for Haste the Day. Keech is good, Ryan is better, it took me a little while to figure it out.
