I'll admit though my DEP hot take is that I got really tired of hearing Milk Lizard every time I saw them and now I tend to skip it sometimes

Same (a year before MM’s release, to be precise), and I‘m also glad to say that I never thought this even at the time. I loved this album immensely since my first listen on release.
