The title track off that album is surely one of the best song Symphony X ever wrote. By the way, ultimatethrasher, Twilight in Olympus is an underrated album that's kind of close to this one in sound imo. It also has the amazing Orion: The Hunter.

I wish I could say the same because Awakenings to me is pretty average. For me King of Terrors is the jewel of The Odyssey.

It's a bit long in some places, but I feel the same about King of Terrors. Incantations of the Apprentice is where it's at.
But all in all I prefer this album in nearly every way.

I like The Turning, it has a great flow. It's not as diversified as most of the others, but it's the same with Inferno tbh.

The problem with Twilight is that some tracks are pretty bland, and some others have very uninspired parts. Obviously it was a rushed album, but even so, it has amazing moments (TtLG, Church, Smoke, etc)
