Check out Cardinal Sin then, it's the vocalist from Subterranean's version of Dead Eternity and Dissection's guitarist/songwriter from The Somberlain playing melodic blackened death. Another short EP, but it feels in this vein. Also Dawn obviously, since Henke did most of the vocals on this.
Edit: Subterranean's version of Dead Eternity is the best melodeath song ever recorded
