That’s why its charm lasts still. From Nothing on, especially from obZen on they had those bass riffs that destroy cities, but this and Chaosphere still had those thrash metal roots and speeds that make them stand out in the discog now looking back. Especially the bass tones, they still get me going.

Agreed with Wolfe. Those thrashy bits make the first few records infinitely replayable.



Nothing is still my fave, but the early ones aren't far behind. And Koloss, which was new for them because it was so catchy.

Obzen's always been a bit too inconsistent in the middle area imo... Lethargica in particular has always bored the hell out of me (I suppose the title is fitting, lol)
