Rise and shine and be all you can be

Turn your eyes toward the inside

Dig deep within I'm sure you'll find

A different self, a different soul

To put you in peace with mind

I do appreciate a good few songs from DEI through Nothing, so I made a mix tape including my favorite songs. I ordered these in a way that both makes sense and is mostly chronological.

1. Strengah

2. Future Breed Machine

3. Beneath

4. Soul Burn

5. Rational Gaze

6. Neurotica

7. Sane

8. The Exquisite Machinery of Torture

9. Sraws Pulled at Random

I wanted to get sublevels on here but as a closer it is too much of a mood killer, and it wouldn't fit any where else. I just like the second half of Straws as the last bit you hear in an album. My reasoning with putting Strengah first instead of FBM was to start with a bang, have the quiet after the storm, then hear the storm come back (with the latter two being in FBM).

The jazzy bridge and the crushing riff that follows it. Overall outstanding song.

Also way to misspell the first song on your fav-Meshuggah list there Tranta

Suffer in truth is essential

Alright...it's because the ending of Sublevels depresses/scares the fuck out of me and I don't want that to be the end of the mix tape. You know what, it doesn't sound too bad after Sane. I'll put it there and see how it flows.

Suffer in Truth doesn't really interest me.

In response to the first few comments on this thread, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN 11/6 TIME SIGNATURE

The bottom number is ALWAYS in the series 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, etc
