First time i've heard the original, sounds killer. The guitars have a lot more presence than they do on the other version.
|
| |
well the original is the one you're actually probably used to, the one i just linked is the re-recorded version that for some reason only came out on vinyl and in europe. i agree though, the guitars have so much more power to them, compared to the somewhat sterile original. adds whole new life to the album, and the new song After the Deluge fuckin' rocks as well

The one for 20 dollars is damaged dude. One on there in v,gd to n,mint for 30
Pounds so around 50 dollars if you want one in good shape, probably going to order the one from the uk seller in the morning once i get some money

very true, im not huge on first press stuff if i can get the same thing on a new or later pressing for a fraction of the price then i'll get that. It's cool getting specific presses if they have something different or unique about them but for the most part i just want to hear the music at the end of the day.

Exactly dude, i buy everything i listen to as i also take the view that if i want the music i enjoy so much to continue i should pay for it. Obviously out of print stuff you are then subjected to gouging and i've paid alot more than i should have for stuff before but thats usually because its something im determined to get hold of.
