I love this album, put this along with snoop dogg's doggystyle and that those are two of my fav rap albums ever.
But now both dre and snoop suck. Those were the only two albums i liked from either artist

Pretty good review, but could be presented a bit better. I used to love this album, but now it seems a bit samey. Worthy of listening, but the tracks do seem to merge together.

I really dont understand some people....if you dont really listen to hiphop/rap WHY THE **** COMMENT. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE A VOICE IF YOU DONT PERSONAL LIKE HIPHOP IN MY opinion JUGDE ON TALENT NOT RACISM

that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard.

1) you can still have an opinion if you "don't really listent to hip-hop", just not a very good one.

2) if you don't like something that shouldn't dissuade you from not commenting on it.

3) hip-hop is not "race" music no matter how hard some people try to proclaim it to be.

4) and no one said anything racist.

Great album. I prefer this to 2001, but only by a very small margin.

I don't know why this is held in such high regards. I find this album rather annoying outside "Ain't Nothin But A G Thang"

Not many albums in history have accomplished what they set out to do better than The Chronic has. The few poor tracks are made up for by the entire atmosphere of the record.

This is without a doubt Dr. Dre's best. There's a memorable hook in nearly every one of these songs.

This is actually a really good album. I won't say that about a lot of gangsta rap.

Same here. It's very good, but that's a rarity for me when it comes to rap/hip-hop.

Ehhhhh. Lyrical Gangbang was by far the best track, so I dunno what you're talking about. And Ra-tat-tat-tat-etc is the other great song. But I think you did a pretty good review.

Nice review man.

But how could you not like high-powered? RBX's rap in that song is one of the best in the entire album.
