I'll probably check it out eventually. I'm really curious to see what it's like.

Get Morrowind instead.

I actually had that. Never really played it too much though. Not sure why.

Hawks, how about the new Esoteric record?
Holy shit it rips everything else released this year to shreds.

New Esoteric rules. Wouldn't say it rips everything else to shreds though.

"Get Morrowind instead."
Fuck that, Oblivion

Nah, Morrowind is superior to Oblivion.
But Skyrim is shaping up to be better than both.

Well would you recommend it to somebody who has never really been that heavy into video games, such as myself?

idk the game is huuuge hawks, it may be overwhelming for a casual gamer.

That's what I was thinking. I wanna play it, but I just don't know if I'd be able to "get it" because I don't play those kinds of games usually.

Starting to like this better than any other Drudkh release. That motherfucking bass. Mmm.

Skyrim is for non-casual games that love to play RPGs and storylines that are reminscent of MMORPG's, but aren't because MMORPGs are gay as hell
also i would like this record a lot more (already really like it mind you), if it werent for the production quality. I feel like the bareness of Forgotten Legends/Autumn Aurora is missed, and they tried for a more Blood in our Wells crispness, but completely missed it.

call me crazy, but the two Drudkh albums I've heard are this and Autumn Aurora, and I like this one way more

It's my least favorite of the albums I have by Drudkh. Blood in our wells, Autumn Aurora and Eternal turn of the wheel (in that order) I like better. Some of the guitar work on Estrangement is not very good...there is a solo that really sounds clunky and amateur in there which sticks in my memory.
I certainly don't think it's bad, there are some good moments. But so far as I explore this band, it's at the bottom. There are no parts of the album that really grab me.
I'm looking forward to getting all of their albums. Great band.

this is like 500 times better than eternal turn of the wheel
