I'll throw one back in honor of Crysis's Contributing Reviewership. It's about time. Good job, dude, you certainly earned it.

Congrats Crysis :thumb:
And thanks for the recommendations, I will probably check out his melodic stuff before I go to the heavier stuff.

There's no way this is a 4, some of the rehearsal material is atrocious quality.

Varg's vocals a + point?

For me Varg's vocals are the worst thing about Burzum... (not bad enough to stop me listening to it though of course)

Varg is one of the best vocalists in Black Metal.

Varg is probably my favorite in the genre, he's so amazingly tortured and powerful.

Garm and Silenius definitely are close though, Vintyr, Roman Saenko and Aakon Keetreh deserve a mention too though.

Garm is probably my favorite, with Nattefrost and Varg not far behind.

Why do you deride his ambient work? It's amazing stuff.

Varg is very talented, I remember randomely picking up Burzum:Anthology at my local music store "I'm a compusive spender" and at first I was a bit meh but after a couple listens it really grew on me, he is a master when it comes to creating an atmosphere in his music and is a brilliant man.
