Yeah I guess the t/t isn't the worst thing ever. The coolest part though for me is the "Fuck it all and fuckin' no regrets".

Guitar solos are seriously something the album could have benefited from.

Probably, not particularly in the t/t though, it kind of needs that raw, unaesthetic feel.
On the whole though it's clear, I mean, how bad can it be to let Kirk of his leash and give him some space in a song

Solos could've made this album bearable. As it stands, there's

nothing of musical value on here. Just boring detuned riffs and parts

that refrain 100 times per song.

If the snare drum didn't sound the way it did, I would like it just a little more. Great songs though. I
still love the record but the snare drops it to a 4 for me just because the songs themselves are still
awesome. What's with all the one's. I mean is is really that bad? Really?

I am not surprised that even many lovers of the sound of this album consider the snare to single-handily kill this album's chances of being a classic.

the snare is part of the album's aesthetic. i think the sound of it adds to the rawness, but i wish they wouldn't have used so much reverb right in the resonant freq band because it can get really distracting for some songs. also purify is fucking terrible and my world is pretty awful too. and the songs are way too repetitive for no reason. still i'll never understand the hate on this album

1) No solos on massively long songs that could use them

2) Generally immature lyrics

3) The pans and pots snare tone

4) Riffs that go on way too long and are very nu metal like

1) sounds like shit
2) it only got 1.5 so I can reserve a slot lower for Nickelback

I know it's not on here, but am I the only one who thinks the I Disappear single is a jam and a half? Haha.

My friends don't like I Disappear but I've always enjoyed it, sort of in the same way as Enter Sandman

The chorus is so catchy and Kirk's mini solo rules too, always loved the ending too.

Album isn't even that bad. The drum sound is annoying but a bajillion other metal albums use the same snare sound. I kinda like the raw sound the album has but the extreme repetiveness an pointless 8-minute song structures kill it. Shorten every song to 4 minutes and this would be a 4.0/5
