nightwish was part of the trifecta of my first favorite metal bands back in the early/mid 00s together with system of a down and in flames.
i could never hate them and they have the best live performances ive ever seen to this very day.

Second half was ok, but the first half of the album is god-tier. Took some time to get used to Annette but she fits perfectly in some of the tracks. I don't think a track like Amaranth would have worked with Tarja, for example.
