This album is better than Emepror's "In the Nightside Eclipse" i'd say, altmer. I havet heard "athems" yet though.

I haven't hear too much from Mayhem, but I love Enslaved, so i guess i'd say they're better.

I think that Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk is Emperor's best.

Put away your thesaurus and give this album a 5.

in all honesty kal the wordiness does get a bit annoying, i think you could simplify it while still being effective.

i've heard it is, crysis. I'm contemplating getting it tomorrow. I'll either get that, or Blodhemn by Enslaved. I'll most likely get Blodhemn, because i've wanted it for a long time now, even though I'll probaly enjoy anthems a little more. Plus, Blodhemn doesnt have a review yet, so i'll probably release a review of it very soon after (I did that when I got Room V)

Get Anthems sometime though, it's a classic black metal release.

Truth, but we should start talking about this album again.

Unhallowed might be the worst track, but man the final riff to that song is killer.

Unhallowed is just great all around...I wouldn't say its th worst track, but there really isn't a worst track here. I think my least favorite here may be Retribution, but that's probably only cuz it's shorter than the others honestly.

Nights Blood is definately the best though, and probably my favorite BM song of all time.

"Where Dead Angels Lie" and "Night's Blood" are the best Dissection songs hands down. I'd pay double the price of this album for just those two songs. I also love the instrumentals.

Yeah, those are definatyely the best two on the album, Soulreaper would probably be next, but none of them come that close to being as good as those two songs, and I really love every song here too.

That 4:00 mark in NB is orgasmic.

Ya... "Night's Blood" is easily one of my favorite songs of all time. I get these really distinct chills when I hear that track, it's the perfect song.

I actually like The Somberlain a bit better than this. Still a top notch album though.
