Haha yeah I think so. And the inconsistent tone. It's just a really perplexing album tbh but I think its underrated.

This is by far their best and Heligoland is probably their weakest, but it's still kinda underrated. Pray for Rain, Paradise Circus, and Rush Minute are three of their best songs.

Such a killer album. The first four songs are classics.

I prefer Blue Lines and Protection over this, but it's obviously still amazing. They've released a bunch of superb records.

the second half of Heligoland contains some of their best songs

1. Mezzanine

2. 100th Window

3. Heligoland

4. Blue Lines

5. Protection

Wow 100th Window so high up is quite unconventional.

1. Blue Lines

2. Protection

3. Mezzanine

4. Heligoland

5. 100th Window

But it's more like

5.0 Blue Lines = Protection

4.5 Mezzanine

4.0 Heligoland = 100th Window

Yeah!! Thanks for showing up Johnny, I was feeling lonely here...

Protection and Blue Lines are so warm, diverse, relaxing, sensual. Their later ones are obviously still amazing, but they're a little colder.
