i generally start with a bands debut. it's an old school death metal album so it was on the list to hear. after i looked at the genres of later albums i moved on to the next kill. probably won't be back to this band for a while.

For those that are interested in listening to Thousand Lakes, beware. The sound is quite different, especially the vocals. The growls in that album are fantastic. However, the clean vocals in that album are a joke. The difference is like night and day.
This album is quite fantastic, eargasm for sure. The reviewer did hit the nail on the head when he mentioned how powerful this album is, and he is quite right.
Though in completely different metal genres this reminds me quite a bit of Finland's Swallow the Sun. I am sure fans of this album would like their debut- "The Morning Never Came"
