I tried to be a connoisseur and failed to identify whether I actually liked the taste park. I don’t even really listen to death metal now, lol (okay there are exceptions).

Gun to my head - if I could have these guys or Immolation for the rest of times I’d pick these guys. But yeah I still don’t really dig melo-death per se, this band just go unfathomably hard and apparently I like riffs that are actually catchy (and a touch of melody). 🤔

That wasn’t necessarily a dig at Immo, I just couldn’t pick Death, Atheist or Gorguts. Immo have always been some way behind the others in my eyes and I went for a big fish. Just bookmarking this comment for future ref.

Erm, yeah I don’t listen to death metal much these days, so when I do then I try and pick something easily jammable. I’m all about that instant hit of gratification apparently.

It’s barely like AtG at all imo. Early AtG rules though.
