We were enjoying slint until u came along, sed "heh yeh guys it's ok but there's hundreds of similar albums that are better y'all just don't know cuz you ain't Yankee" and then just kind of crapped out when we wanted u to get more specific.

Not everyone makes it their mission to hear everything under the sun, some people like to listen to good shit they find and maybe it doesn't necessarily mean they're gonna go on a rampage listening to anyone EVER pegged as even remotely similar and delving into the most obscure stuff so they can pull it out of their back pocket when they get into arguments
Nobody claimed this was "objectively the best [whatever genre] album", we were just talking about how sweet it is and you felt the need to interject with how little we know abt these genres. Told u dude honestly I don't give a flying fuck about what else is considered similar or in genre as this, this is a 5 for me personally and nobody needs to listen to all discogs of all similar bands in order to prove that to u or something
