This album is an absolute masterpiece man. Lightning in a bottle. Too bad that never did it again, though I do like their 2nd And 3rd albums. This is one of my all time favorite albums.

But if this had given them Slipknot levels of fame would they have crashed as hard as they did.

Maybe they'd have crashed even harder lol

Their second album is certainly enjoyable but it doesn't even come close to this record.

No second album is like a 3.5 (4 on a very good day) while this is a hard 5. Lost and Found is a 3.5

Second album is for sure a 3.5. Lost and Found is probably a 3 for me though. It's got a couple of really cool jams and a few songs move in cool new directions for the band, but I felt very underwhelmed by it as a whole. I'd prefer to pretend the other two don't exist.

I still think A New Game is amongst one of the worst albums I've ever heard. That's at least taking into account bands I like that went onto make something shit and actually tried to make good music. There's definitely worse out there but some stuff you can pretty much tell it's inherently shit.

LD 50 compared to A New Game might as well be two different bands

Have never jammed anything else by these guys. Don’t think I ever will tbh.

Nah Hawks you should def check out their sophomore album. Well worth your time.

A New Game is insanely disappointing but has some redeeming factors and a few good tracks imo. It’s like a 2.5 for me. Self titled is maybe a 3, but just barely.

Hellyeah is a fucking abomination though.

Fish out of Water and the t/t are pretty solid but then it’s dpwnhill. I’m fact I may only give it a 2 now that I’m looking at the tracklist.

The guitar tone on this album gets boring after awhile

The next record sucks all kinds of dick. I tried so hard to like it, there's like MAYBE 3 solid songs, the rest is trash, and they only went downhill swiftly from there. Just saying if they made this album before Slipknot made their S/T maybe they would have gone down a less desperate path.

Next album is still great, but it's nowhere near the level of this. This is easily the best nu-metal album of all time.
