Favorite doom album ever. Ahh, doom is returning to sputnik again. I remember several months ago a huge doom emergence was seen. It has risen again.

Thanks dude. You should really look into this. To tell you the truth I really wasnt expecting it to be as good as it is, but its fucking amazing. Definitely the best doom that I've heard.

This is the kind of doom I love. Saint Vitus, Paradise Lost, the whole 9 yards but i've worn myself out with a bunch of mediocre death/doom these days forgetting why I liked doom in the first place. I still need to purchase the new Gates Of Slumber record. Sounds very promising.

Imagine a cross between this and Viking metal-era Bathory. That is Scald.

i'm not much for viking era bathory except BFD. Hammerheart doesn't have the intensity of the earlier stuff.

I checked out that song, and I'd say its about on par with Ereb Altor, I'm usually not into the doom/viking stuff but those two bands are good
