Im not saying you, but most Metal heads have no problem with Satanic bands, in fact the more "evil" the better. I think people make too much of a deal if a Band is "christain" just the word makes people not even like it.

Well I think religion-based bands are all lame. Their preachy lyrics and elitist attitudes turn me off.
(maybe it's because I'm Atheist)

Ya, well that and its because it seems like they are trying to sell you what they believe or something. I kinda fell the same way about polical bands, espically when they know a lot people will like what they are saying, you know the generic "f**k Bush" thing, im not a huge fan of bush but even I am like give me a break! This Message Edited On 08.22.07

Politics and religion aren't my thing in lyrics. I have my own opinion I don't need people to tell me different.

This band makes me want to throw up all over my keyboard. You couldn't have more bland music.

I can listen to metalcore. It isn't my favourite genre, but I don't have some inane grudge against it.
It just has to be, you know, good. These guys don't cut it.
Ditto that for Christian metal, or whatever. This Message Edited On 08.22.07

i really cant stand this band at all recorded, but i saw these guys live at SOTU and they were really good there singers highs and lows sounded alot more refined which was weird because when i finally did hear this cd... it was terrible....... it was rehased BS over and over and the clean vocals blew every song into shit completely

As whiny and annoying as the clean vocals are, I prefer them to the screaming which is a lot worse.

Kalkal wait until you see my long overdue rant on Dream Theater's Systematic Chaos. It may be a pointless review now but I got a lot to say.
Cool, it's never pointless. I dislike Dream Theater.

Pebster this isn't very hardcore at all. Converge = hardcore based, Devil wears prada = lame melodic death infused with a little hardcore.
|

This band is definitely not melodic death. The vocals are metalcore and the music includes many metalcore breakdowns. There are no real guitar leads or solos either.

It really fits into the whole "melodic deathcore" theme though (I hate that term but if your a genre nazi it fits).
|
| |
I find it to be metalcore...terribly generic metalcore

They aren't Melodic Death! They are Metalcore, its closer to hardcore than to death metal. Converge is the extreame other end of hardcore.

I usually dont go all that much for a band with emo singing, but i find this album quite amusing.

These guys are bad, plain and simple. Everything is totally out of place and their song titles are a bigger joke.

I have yet to listen to this with the exception of Hey John, What's Your Name Again?. I'm one of the few on here that enjoy TDWP, although the more I get exposed to other music, the more unremarkable they become to me. From what I've heard, I think this record is an improvement over the debut, which I used to love but now it's meh.

Pleanty of people like them, don't think you're a minority or anything.

Yeah, but it seems the people who do are the ones who aren't on Sputnik.
